Into The Eye of The Storm: The Odyssey
Brace for the storm and prepare for an epic adventure like no other. The Odyssey, a tale that began as an oral tradition echoing through the centuries, has been retold, reimagined, and revived countless times. At its heart is the harrowing 20-year saga of Odysseus, King of Ithaca. After a grueling decade of war at Troy, Odysseus longs for nothing more than to return home to his wife, Penelope, and his son, Telemachus. But the journey is far from simple. Standing in his way is the formidable Greek Pantheon—gods and goddesses still embroiled in the lingering bitterness of the Trojan War.
About the Crisis Director
Hello, my name is Paige Kempf! I am a current third year here at Ohio State University, studying Political Science and History with a minor in Classics. I have been a part of the Ohio State Model UN team since my freshman year, making this my third OSUMUN and second time as a Crisis Director. While not in business attire or studying I am often writing, doodling or reading something history related. Although not my specialization in my history major, Ancient Greece has been a great point of interest for me (hence the classics minor). That being said, there’s a lot of information out there about the Greek Gods & Goddesses. Nonetheless, if you have any questions about the committee or the resources you should look at don’t hesitate to reach out at Kempf.91@osu.edu!
