A Nightmare in Gotham
Set in the DC Comics Batman universe in the crime-ridden Gotham City, delegates will take on the roles of some of Batman's most infamous villains. They will navigate a city on the brink of chaos, forming alliances, betraying enemies, and vying for power. As the city descends into anarchy, delegates must decide whether to embrace their own villainous nature and selfish desire or strive for a more unified sinister goal. The fate of Gotham hangs in the balance as these iconic villains clash in a battle for supremacy over the streets.
About the Crisis Director
What’s good, my name is Luke Aidan McCarthy and I am from Dublin, Ohio. I officially started MUN in junior year of high school because my friends told me to. Since then I’ve traveled to all kinds of places and met all kinds of amazing people. I’m majoring in international studies with a primary specialization in intelligence and security and a secondary specialization in world economy and business. In my free time I enjoy lifting at the gym, playing video games, and going out with my friends. This will also be my first time CD-ing a committee and that is what I am most excited about. The committee is based off of the Batman universe which is something I thoroughly enjoy reading/watching. The delegates in this committee should be prepared to take on their roles as Gotham’s greatest villains and shouldn’t be afraid to get in character during committee. Something I love about crisis committees is the fact that you can essentially become the character you are--which I find very funny--and it makes the weekend a whole lot more fun for both delegates and staffers when you act out your character!
