Hello delegates, advisors, and friends!

My name is Shreyas and I am beyond thrilled to be running this conference with my team this year. When I had attended OSUMUN as a high schooler, I had never even dreamed of becoming Secretary-General, but of course the only thing certain about life is how uncertain it is! 

This year's conference is expected to be our biggest since the COVID-19 pandemic, with more committees and more delegates than before. I am also pleased to announce that this year we will be partnering with a nonprofit organization and some of our profits this year will be donated directly to them.

This year's theme for OSUMUN is "Use the Past to Build the Future." Model United Nations almost always involves synthesizing information from the past and the present to form resolutions and directives built to last generations. This year's committees reflect this theme in various ways. Whether you are making laws a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away or creating a better world with treatises of human rights. Our guarantee as always is that you will have as good time and learn a lot along the way.

We have a variety of committees, including an ADHOC and a specialized committee. Our offerings this year are sure to have a perfect fit for delegates of all experience levels and interests. 

Our dedicated staff and secretariat (who you can learn more about below!) is committed to upholding the values of equity and inclusion, and will work to ensure each committee and the conference as a whole reflects these values.
